Tansy has a grab bag of present and past uses: it repels ants and cockroaches; it is a natural dye and the bright yellow button flowers are excellent in dried flower arrangements.

Sensational new variety from England. Soft downy woolly-grey leaves are soon overwhelmed by a shroud of white flowers so much so that you almost cannot see the leaves. Has the same insect-repelling properties as other tansies. Not invasive.
