| MY HERBAL SOAP |
| I recently took some classes and learned how to extract essential fragrance oils from my herbs. (I prefer a steam and water distillation process using my pressure cooker) I've discovered that it takes a tremendous amount of plant product to make a tiny amount of oil! Then, I started making soaps using my fragrance oils, with moisturizing oils like coconut oil, palm oil, and olive oil. I sell my soap at the farmers markets and plant fairs and here at the farm. The only problem is that I'm having trouble extracting enough oil, and making enough soap, to keep up with the demand! |
